VISY's $500 million glass manufacturing facility in Yatala, Queensland is being constructed beside their existing cardboard box manufacturing plant, aiming to produce about 1 billion glass containers per year using recycled glass and powered by renewable energy.
The MCDJH Joint Venture (McConnell Dowell and John Holland) is delivering the main engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works for the 250MW/2,000MWh Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro Project, which involves converting two former gold mine pits into an upper and lower reservoir for pumped hydro energy storage.

Rio Tinto holds a controlling interest in the southern section (Blocks 3 and 4) of the Simandou iron ore project in Guinea, partnering with Chinalco and the Guinean government to develop what is considered one of the world's largest untapped high-grade iron ore deposits. The project, which includes plans for mine development, a 670-kilometer trans-Guinean railway, and port facilities at Matakang, has faced numerous challenges and delays since Rio Tinto first acquired rights in the 1990s.
Rimcorp were engaged by the project to undertake a determination study in relation to Rio Tinto’s permanent workforce accommodation and recreational infrastructure facilities in Guinea, West Africa.
These services were conducted from Rimcorp’s Townsville office, RTIO Simandou office in Paris, France and on-site in Guinea.
Rimcorp were engaged by OSL to support their operating accommodation assets with catering and facilities management and maintenance audits.
A team of Rimcorp personnel completed operations wide catering and facilities management contract compliance audits (1800 beds across 10 facilities) and provided contract management mentoring to clients shared services team.
We completed a modification and update of the catering and facilities management scope of works and renegotiated contract pricing to elevate standards of service in conjunction with client shared services team.
Ongoing periodical compliance auditing also included the training of local indigenous employers in the areas of food handling and other hospitality, performance management and administration skills.
