Eliwana Rail Project

The Eliwana Rail Project was a 130-kilometer heavy haul railway construction project in Western Australia's Pilbara region by Fortescue Metals Group (FMG) to connect the Eliwana iron ore mine to FMG's existing Hamersley Line. The project, completed in late 2020, included significant earthworks, bridges, and rail infrastructure to enable the transport of iron ore from the Eliwana mine to Port Hedland for export. Rimcorp provided professional services and personnel secondments to the project during construction.
Rimcorp were engaged to provide a village infrastructure and operations specialists to act as Principals representatives and oversee the mobilization, construction and operations of various temporary camps and villages for the Eliwana Rail Project within the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Providing ongoing contract and performance management support of the contractors in infrastructure supply and village operations. The contract was extended to provide full time back to back coverage of the role and of 3 accommodation facilities totalling 800 rooms along the 130km rail line.
